Police Parade 50-year-old Man Who Slaughtered Sick Friend For Money Ritual Osun State Police Command confirmed that it arrested one Kehinde Ganiyu, aged 50, for allegedly killing and removing the throat of his Ghanian friend, Emmanuel Collins, for money ritual. Addressing newsmen on Friday while parading Ganiyu alongside other suspects, the command spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, said after the suspect had killed his victim, he removed his throat, dried it and burnt it into powder. Opalola said “On 18th July, 2024 at about 3:00pm, upon information received by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Oke-Odo Division Osogbo that, on the same date at about 2:30pm a Ghanaian named Emmanuel Collins ‘m’ about 35yrs old was killed by a yet to be identified individual, Police detectives swung into action and through intelligence led to investigation, one kehinde Ganiyu ‘m’ intimate friend to the deceased was arrested. "He confessed to the commission of the heinous crime and stated that, on 9th July 2024, at about 9:00pm, he went to the deceased’s residence with a knife where he met him sleeping because he was sick. "That he slaughtered the deceased with the kitchen knife and removed his throat. He added further that, he dried the throat for three days before he took it to a bush called Igbo Imese Aiwosi Area, located at Oba-Oke village where he burnt it in a clay pot with some ritual materials and later mixed the burnt powder with soap for money ritual (OSOLE). "He confessed to have singlehandedly carried out the operation. Investigation is still ongoing and the suspect will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation accordingly.” Exhibits recovered from the suspect according to Opalola is one four different of blood stained knives, one chisel, two gourds, one wooden traditional pot containing black soap, two local sponges with black soap ,one wooden traditional tray (Opon Ifa) one wooden box and some local charms. The suspect told Blaze Newz that he has been harvesting human body to prepare black soup for Yahoo Yahoo Boys who approached him for money ritual before now. He explained that he do collect N500,000 payment from Yahoo boys after they must have sourced for human part needed to prepare black soup for them by themselves. He, however, said he decided to prepare the black soup money ritual for himself before he was arrested by men of the Nigerian Police
