Osun Experiences Rainfall Less Than 24hrs Muslims Gathered For Prayer

Some part of Osun State on Monday experienced rainfall in less than 24 hours after Muslim faithful gathered to sought for Allah’s Mercy as crops in various communities of the thirty Local Government Areas of the state continue to wither.
Blaze Newz gathered that on Sunday they (Muslims) converged at the Osogbo Central Eid in a special prayer led by the Grand Imam and Chairman of the League of Imams and Alfas, Osun State, Sheikh Musa Animashaun to pray for rainfall.
Places like Oke-fia, Ede, Owode-Ede, Abere, Ogo-olowu, Olaiya among others withnessed downpour early hours of Monday.
Sheik Animashaun at the special prayer emphasized the importance of seeking Allah’s guidance and forgiveness during challenging times.
He called on the residents of the state to seek forgiveness and blessings from God.
“Whenever there is a possible threat of drought, we are enjoined by Allah (SWT) through His Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) that we should go back to Him, and seek His guidance and forgiveness.” Sheikh Animashaun stated.
Other Islamic scholars who spoke at the special prayer stressed the importance of fearing Allah, noting that this was a prerequisite for God to listen to their prayers and provide the much-needed rain.
