Three Nigerian University Students To Share N2.2m PRC Prize

Three Nigerian university Students have won a total sum of N2.2m price in the just concluded Platinum Reasoning Contest (PRC) held at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The students: Animasaun Victor,a student of Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) who came first got #1,000000(One million naira) while Jesuloyomi Temitayo of University of Ilorin in the second position went home with #700,000 (Seven Hundred Thousand naira) and the third position,Taiwo Owolabi,a student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife was given #500, 000.(Five Hundred Thousand Naira).
The Mr. AbdulKadir Agboola who is the Coordinator of Platinum Mind Global Company (PGMC) , in his address described Platinum Reasoning Contest as a robust mechanism for the purpose of identifying potential in African students for development.
While congratulating them on this feat,he adviced them to utilize the money judiciously and creatively towards the advancement of their potentials.
He admitted that the process of selection that provided the three students was very tough and rigorous, which encompassed presentation of series of projects for industrial usage for over a month.
Also, a senior official of the organisation, Mr. Ayandeji Peter charged the students to contribute their quotas to the quest of alleviating poverty in the society by investing their money in small scale business, as he implored African youths generally to look beyond white collar job and be creative.
Meanwhile, the legal adviser of the organization, Barrister Ruth Adeola has called on the price winners to see their success as an opportunity to move further in the ladder of life.
She advised the students against giving room for euphoria of success to derail them from the good path, saying youthful exuberance kills dreams in the absence of guidance.
“I want to advise you not to see yourself as being rich now and start misbehaving; rather, this should be a privilege to go further in life and enhance your God-given talent for the good of humanity.
“Nothing whatsoever should take you away from this path of brilliance and creativity, it is the only route to greatness “, Adeola said.
