Yuletide: Afolabi felicitates with Christians on Christmas Day, Urges Them To Pray For Others The chairmanship candidate of Ede South local government area of Osun state in the forthcoming election, Hon. Lukman Afolabi, has extended warm wishes for a merry christmas to Christians on the occasion of this year's celebration. Afolabi, in his yuletide message emphasized the importance of celebrating Christmas with a focus on its spiritual values. The esrtwhile Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON, Osun chapter, encouraged Christian community to spread love, care and maintain a peaceful conclusion to the eventful year. He urged them to also take safety precautions during the celebration period. Afolabi ,who expressed gratitude to God for the blessing of witnessing this year's Christmas extends his thoughts to the vulnerable and essential service workers. “Christmas, a period for loving, sharing, and giving, is here again! Christmas is a celebration of peace and goodwill for all. Being an expression of spiritual value, it is essential to celebrate Christmas while upholding the spiritual foundation of Christmas itself. Say your prayers, pray for others, and fill your heart with goodness, all of which would make the celebration meaningful. "The year has been eventful; let’s wrap it up as peacefully as possible.
