Oyo Residents Laud Leo Club Free Medical Checkup

The residents of Oyo town have lauded members of Leo District 404B2 Nigeria for organising free medical checkup service and drugs provision to the less privileged within the Yoruba accident city.

The beneficiaries of this program came out in large number to enjoy the service held at Oja Akesan area close to Alafin palace on Friday morning.

The free medical checkup service was among the programs lined up for the annual leadership conference designed for all Club officers as they commence 2019/2020 lions year which will run from 26 to 28 of July, 2019.

A beneficiary who simply addressed her self as Ayo mother thank the organizer of this program saying “if this is the way wealthy people in our society is doing the world would have been better than it is”.

Azeez Habeeb also appreciated the effort put together by the Leo Club for the program and pray for God to guide and protect them through out their three days program.

While speaking before the commencement of the medical service, the District Governor, Lion Wesley Kafidiya of the Lions Club District 404B2 Nigeria which is mother to the Leo Club charged the Leo members not to relent in providing services like this to the public.

He also urged Leo Clubs to use all the opportunity of their projects to make impact on humanity and train themselves to become a good ambassador of the Lions Club International in their society.

The District president of the Leo Club, Leo Ogunsola Adeola Peter appreciated the Lion District Governor for attending the maiden of the annual leadership conference saying “you have made a history of being the first Lion District Governor to attend Leo program”
