OSUN NSCDC DECLARES READINESS ON PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT FOR ITS PERSONNEL

The personnel of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps of Osun state Command has declared readiness to join its counterparts across the country in the ongoing psychological assessment evaluation.

This was made known by the Commandant of NSCDC Osun State command, Mr Aboluwoye Akinwande Ebeneze during his briefing at the state command in Osogbo.

Commandant Akinwande said the exercise is in consonance with the directive of the Commandant General of NSCDC, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu.

He further said the commandant general believes it is important to carry out the psychological assessment evaluation for NSCDC men with a view in promoting mental stability and high productivity in terms of excellent service delivery among officers and men of the corps.

The Behavioural and forensic unit ( BFU ) headed by Mr Tersoo Shaapera also reiterated the imperative of this ongoing exercise as a calculated attempt of the Commandant General to promote the general wellbeing of the Individual personnel in the face of present security challenge and engagement.

He also educated the corps members about the nitty-gritty of the exercise and the need to ensure full compliance and embrace the development in good faith without any prejudice.

The exercise is scheduled to hold on the 11th July, 2019 at the Civil Defence village, Oke – Dio, Ayepe, Osogbo, Osun state.
