OSHA Poll: Ogunbiyi Expresses Worry On Low Turn Out Of Voters

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Osun State, Dr.Akin Ogunbiyi has said the turn out of electorate in the ongoing election for the state house of assembly poll is lower comparing it to the February 23,presidential and national assembly election.

The PDP chieftain on Saturday disclosed this in his polling unit 4 ward 5 at Methodist Elementary School,Ile-Ogbo,Ayedire Local Government,Osun State after he casted his vote around 11:39 am.

Ogunbiyi expressed his disatisfaction to the rate of turn out in his unit saying 20 percent of voters who voted in the last two weeks are available to cast their votes.

He affirmed that INEC officials did what they are expected to do stressing that they came early as around 7;00 am to the polling unit.

He however appleaed to electorate to continue to conform themselves in a peaceful manner during and after INEC announced the winner.
