Osun 2022 : I Regret Supporting Ogunbiyi In 2018 – Osun Rep

Member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Ede South, Ede North, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State, Honorable Bamidele Salam has regreted throwing his weight behind Dr Akin Ogunbiyi during the Osun Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, primary in 2018.

Salam made this known while featuring on a Yoruba program, Oro Oselu of Rave FM, Osogbo on Monday.

Blaze Newz gathered that Dr Akin Ogunbiyi is among other aspirants who will be contesting with Senator Ademola Adeleke in the PDP governorship primary scheduled for next month.

The federal lawmaker who is rooting for the 2018 PDP governorship candidate Senator Ademola Adeleke to become governor of Osun in the forthcoming gubernatorial election said his decision of adopting Dr. Ogunbiyi against Senator Adeleke was a great mistake.

He said if Osun PDP is ready to takeover government from the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Adeleke is okay as a candidate to be reckoned with.

While speaking on Dele Adeleke , cousin to Senator Ademola Adeleke, who has also picked the 2022 Osun governorship PDP form, Salam said his sudden entry into the race of who secure the party’s ticket is just trying to test his strength in order to be considered for future appointment.

According to the lawmaker ” Adeleke was voted massively in 2018 by Osun people and they will also vote for him in 2022, he will become the governor and do well.”
