Elections Postponment: Saraki Empathizes With Nigerians, Urges Them To Remain Resolute

The senate president,Dr.Abubakar Saraki has advised Nigerians to remain resolute and come out en mass next Saturday to vote for Atiku-Obi and all candidates of the Peoples Pemocratic Party (PDP).
Saraki said this on his twitter handle hours ago after the general elections scheduled for today February 16 and March 2 have been postponed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced by the comission chairman,Prof.Mahood Yakubu.
“Nigerians are now wiser,they will definitely punish this government that has displayed incompetence,lack of capacity and foresight and vote for the team that will get Nigeria working again” he twitted.
“The Atiku-Obi ticket have momentum on its side,this postponement will not slow us down” saraki boasted.
Speaking on INEC, the senate president also said ” INEC must ensure that we do not have a repeat of what happened today.
“As i have always reiterated, the 2019 election must be a clear improvement on that of 2015”
He empathized with all corps members posted to different areas of the country to work for INEC,travelers and civil servants who traveled in orfer to vote for candidates of their choice.
