Eid-Kabir :Osun Muslims Laud Oyetola Free Ride, Call For Endless Support To The Governor

As part of efforts to ease movements for Muslims within the state capital, Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Sunday provided free ride to convaine Muslim faithfuls to the Osogbo praying ground along Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC) road.

The Muslims who were to gathered at the praying ground by 10am to observe two rakat prayers enjoyed the free ride that took nons on to and fro.

Speaking with Blaze Newz Busari Ibrahim,one of the Muslim who enjoyed the free ride described the free ride as a commendable effort by the governor saying “this is part of what we are expecting from a peoples’ government” and noted that “the Governor Oyetola has just done”.

Ibrahim added that the free ride by Governor Oyetola is first of it kind and urged the governor not to stop this gesture during festival periods like the Eid.

He however, urged Muslims residing within the state capital not to stop their support for Governor Oyetola government saying ” more dividend of democracy will still come”.

He also expressed his confidence in Governor Oyetola administration who he said will never make life difficult to the citizens living in the Osun and appealed to the governor to place most priority on the welfare of civil servants.

Lauding the free ride Baliq in her words also said that ” this free ride is well organized and I will also commend the NURTW who supported the governor to made the service easy”.

She also appealed to Muslims not to shun their responsibility to the government by paying their tax regularly and protect government properties from all forms of destruction.

Recall,Governor Oyetola announced free train ride which is to move Muslims residing in Lagos to Osun and return them back on Wednesday.

The governor was welcomed to the praying amongst cheers by large numbers of Muslims to the praying ground.
