Easter Festival : Lawmaker Elect, Ogunkanmi Felicitates With Christians, Preaches Unity, Tolerance, Love

Lawmaker elect, Osun State House of Assembly, for Ayedire State Constituency, Hon. Gbenga Abidemi Ogunkanmi, has felicitated with Christian faithfus across the country on the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, charging them on unity, tolerance and love.

Hon.Ogunkanmi, in his Easter message tasked Christians to show love to people around them for the progress of Nigeria.

He said, Jesus Christ lived and died to teaching lessons on how to live with people in harmony.

Ogunkanmi urged them to use the Easter period to pray for the continued progress of the state under the watch of Governor Gboyega Oyetola and Nigeria at large.

He admonished Osun residents to work in the spirit of togetherness for the state to witness more and meaningful development.

According to the Lawmaker elect, “Christians should use this season to reflect on their individual and collective roles towards the unity and love to promoting peace in Nigeria.

” We urge Christians to be guided by the ideals and virtues that the Jesus Christ lived and died for, in their lives and conducts.

“The celebration is not only about watching an Easter parade or eating foods, Easter surely promises us a renewed hope, happiness and prosperity let share with people”, the former LG boss added.
