Aregbesola Remains Our Leader – Oyetola’s Commissioner Insists



Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engr. Remi Omowaiye has dismissed the claim that he is not a baby politician saying he has been participating in active politics before the arrival of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to Osun State.

He claimed that his participation in active politics in the state is more than two decades, adding that the Minister for Interior, Rauf Aregbosola remains his political leader in Osun.

He disclosed this on Monday while featuring on a Oro Oselu, a current affairs radio program of Rave FM, Osogbo, Osun State.

Blaze Newz gathered that Aregbesola, an Ijesa born politicians who served as Commissioner for works in Lagos State returned to Osun to contest for governor.

According to the Omowaye, “Mr. Rauf Aregbesola is our leader. Have been participating in politics since 2001 in the state before his arrival but Ogbeni is our leader and we will regard him as our leader always.

“Rift do happen in politics but our leaders know how they settle the dispute in the party. Aregbesola is my brother and his also my leader but sometimes we may have difference and later come together in politics.

“Osun state is not the first place that incumbent governor will be having issues with predecessor ,it’s has been happening in different places before, some survived and others use elections to settle the matter between them.
