AKOL Resumes To Office As SA Public Health, Seeks Staff Cooperation

The newly-sworn in Special Adviser on Public Health, Dr Olasiji Olamiju-AKOL immediately after his inauguration visited the Hospital Management Board, promising that he would work hard to ensure that the ‘Development Agenda’ of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola come into fruition.
The pharmaceutical doctor, who was welcomed into the ministry with ovation, solicited for the support of all staff in order to succeed in his new assignment.
He said, “My charge to all of us is to please redouble our efforts so that we can justify the confidence Mr Governor has reposed in us. That Mr Governor has sent me here is a measure of the confidence he has in me.”
According to him, the visit was to intimate the members of staff of his readiness to implement Governor Oyetola’s ‘Development Agenda’ as it concerns Public Health, urging all staff to collaborate, cooperate and work as a team.
“My experience as a community/clinical pharmacist and Public Health expert gives confidence that the Ministry and its agencies will achieve an enviable position for a better Osun that we all desired.”
Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Hospital Management Board, Mr Isaac Olaluwoye welcomed the Special Adviser and his entourage to the ministry, expressing confidence in the ability of the new SA Public Health to take the ministry to the next level, describing him as an expert who is highly tested and trusted.
