Alleged Financial Exploitation: EFCC To Arraign Ezekiel ThankGod 14th February, Withdrawals Arrest Warrant
The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) will on Friday, 14th of February, 2025 arraign Ezekiel ThankGod, the manager of music star, Mercy Chinwo.
Ezekiel ThankGod, the manager of music star, Mercy Chinwo will face charges before a Lagos court over alleged financial exploitation of the music star.
At the hearing in court, the case which was supposed to be heard today was postponed following an appeal by the manager’s legal representative who begged the court to pick a new date due to inadequate preparation.
According to the lawyer, his client, Ezekiel was unaware of the summons.
He also assured the court of voluntary appearance of his client in court which led to the withdrawal of the arrest warrant.
In a similar story, an independent audit firm, Pearson Consulting has uncovered the diversion of USD 264,000 belonging to gospel artist Minister Judykay by Ezeetee.
The revelation came through an audit report produced after a thorough review of financial records.
The findings, forwarded to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for further investigation, have become a key component of the fraud case against Ezeetee, who is already embroiled in other allegations involving artists under his record label.
