It’ll Take More Than 125 Years To Destabilize Barcelona – Laporta
Juan Laporta, President of FC Barcelona has disclosed that it will take more than 125 years for enemies of the club to get it destabilized.
Laporta, who was reacting to controversies that surrounded registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor with LaLiga at a press conference on Tuesday, said enemies of the club imposed narrative that has nothing to do with reality.
According to Laporta “They impose a narrative that has nothing to do with reality. This approach is repeated periodically, and we know each other well. Once again, I take pride in saying that they have not succeeded in achieving their goals.
He added “It is no coincidence that whenever Barcelona returns to the forefront of world football, various parties, supported by different media outlets, emerge to try to impose a disgraceful narrative that has nothing to do with reality.

He maintained that “It will take more than that to destabilize a club that is more than 125 years old. Any attempt to degrade the image of our club will not stop us from being a global reference in the world of sport. Barça is loved by millions of fans around the world.”
Confirming Barcelona’s return to 1:1 rule, Laporta said “We have returned to the 1:1 rule, which allows us to operate normally in the market and register players like Olmo and Pau Víctor.
He noted that the help of signed contracts with Nike contributed to the success many thought would be impossible saying ‘We signed contracts such a ares the Nike deal, which is considered the best in the sportswear world.”

Speaking on Real Madrid “Real Madrid? We can be fierce rivals on the pitch, but off the field, we must defend the interests of the clubs. Many clubs have not taken a position, and I am grateful to them. They have legal teams that understand what we are talking about and know that we are within the law and have a chance to succeed in this process.”
“To the opposition, I would say patience… They missed an opportunity to show that they care about Barça. They sided with those who were trying to destabilize us.”
“Since February 2024, we have been working on VIP boxe deal. We will have more than 9,400 VIP boxes, and for now (in the recent deal) we have transferred less than 5% of these VIP boxes.”

“We have completed Barça’s financial recovery. We did it without improvisation, without luck, and without any external help. We are a club with many values, principles, and ethics. Barça is more than just a club.”
“Did anyone really think that I would resign because of a decision of La Liga or the RFEF?”
