Encomiums Pour As Afolabi Distributes Food, Cash Gift To 2000 Residents To Celebrate His Birthday

Praises and prayers poured as over 2000 residents of Ede South Local Government Area of Osun state celebrate with Honorable Lukman Afolabi on his birthday.

The residents who benefited from Afolabi’s food and cash gift, on Thursday, described the chairmanship candidate of Ede South Local Government in the upcoming February 22 council election as God’s sent.

Speaking before the distribution of the food and cash gift, Afolabi thanked Allah for sparing his life just as he reaffirmed his commitment to the service to humanity.

Acknowledging his wife, Mrs Humani Taiwo Afolabi, for the humanitarian gesture of giving food and cash gift to the needy in celebrating his birthday saying “My wife has been my supportive system since we tied the knot and she was the reason why this program took place.”

He also appreciated Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke for making Osun PDP proud with his exemptional leadership in providing good governance to Osun residents at large.

He lauded Dr Mrs. Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke-Sanni ably represented by Hon Tunji Agagu who has been playing a political motherly role to him over the years.

He also used opportunity of the event to announce his administration’s plans for quarterly empowerment programs if elected chairman upcoming election.

Chairman of PDP in Ede South, Hon Ademola Oyebode, lawmaker representing Ede South State Constituency, Barr Taofiki Olayiwola, and Special Adviser to Governor Adeleke on Agriculture, Hon Niran Akanfe Atidade extolled Afolabi’s uncommon gestures, tasked him to continue with his good deeds.
