Anuoluwapo Emerges State Chairperson As Pathfinder Team Inaugurates Women’s Wing In Osun

A socio-political group, The Pathfinder Team has on Tuesday inaugurated its women’s wing at the residence of late Senator Adetunji Adeleke’s Country Home in Ede.

Major stakeholders of The Pathfinder Team such as state coordinator, boards of trustees and local government coordinators who graced the inauguration expressed optimism that the decision to make women take charge will bring desirable results for the actualization of their objectives.

Speaking at the inauguration , Chairman of the board of trustees, Hon Lukman Afolabi, who emphasised on importance of the inclusiveness of women in political process said they have the largest voting bloc in Osun state.

Afolabi urged them to deliver on the mandate given to them by Osun Pathfinder Team “I charge you to display the unique attributes that God has endowed in you so we can succeed.

“If you want to be relevant, respect your leaders, attend ward meetings, and canvass your people to support the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke, he added.

He, however, urged them to bring their leadership prowess into the group saying “Women are less corrupt. So, I am challenging you to prove what you are made of, you are very important and we want you to have independence.”

The state Coordinator of Pathfinder Team, Hon Oladiti Aluko, in his speech stressed that one of the purposes of inaugurating the women wing of the group was to upgrade their women member, give them a chance to work for the success of Osun Peoples Democratic Party and to ensure that all members are united , work in harmony to achieve the common goal.

In her acceptance speech, chairperson of the Osun Pathfinder Team Women’s Wings, Hon Mrs Olusegun Anuoluwapo, appreciates stakeholders of the group for counting her worthy to lead the Women’s Wings.

She pledged to work tireless in ensuring that Governor Adeleke wins his second term election “I will work for the party, the Pathfinder team for the success of Senator Ademola Adeleke come 2026”.

“I promised to discharge her duties with diligence and fear of God” she said.
