Residents Dismisses Rumoured Communal Crisis Between Ede,Osogbo Over Hallelujah Town
Residents of Dada Estate Olorunsogo and Hallelujah town, Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State, have dismissed speculation of an alleged communal crisis brewing in the two neighboring communities.
According to the residents, the speculations making the rounds on social media platforms by some people are lies from the pit of hell.
They said there is no iota of rift let alone land dispute between the residents of the two towns.
The residents were reacting to the to what they tagged “fabricated and unsubstantial” claims flying around on social media over the recent coronation of Ajeniju of Halleluyah town, Oba Yusuf Jelili Olaiya.
The inhabitants of the two communities expressed sad and worry on the purported land dispute matter between Osogbo and Ede towns.
According to concerned dwellers of the both towns, who condemned the fabricated story said, it was quite unfortunate that certain individual are because of their political selfishness working devilishly working to truncate the peaceful communities
The Ikolaba of Ajeniju Town, Chief Kolawole Alabi who is also a resident of Hallelujah town explained that the installation of Ajeniju of Halleluyah,.Oba Yusuf Jelili Olaiya would only deepening the bond, harmony and existing peace between Osogbo and Hallelujah town noting that there is no land dispute crisis whatsoever between Osogbo and Ede.
He attributed the unfounded claims circulated online as the handiwork of some anti progressive minded people who are too desperate to cause unrest and disharmony all in the name of politics.
He stressed that the legal and moral process that led to the installation of Ajeniju of Halleluyah are still intact, adding that never would his installation cause embers of land dispute between Osogbo and Ede.
He cautioned the agents who are hired to be peddling rumours around to desist from the act of bringing Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke into such matter, let alone the duo of two Frontline monarchs, the Ataoja of Osogbo Oba Abidemi Olanipekun Laroye the first and Timi of Ede land Oba Minirudeen Adesola Lawal Lamisa the first.
He held that the governor Ademola Adeleke led administration has a zero tolerance for violence and never would Ataoja of Osogbo and Timi of Ede land would fold their arms and allow some politicians to use land related dispute to truncate the exiting peace and brotherhood in their respective domains.
The Chief also recalled that the coronation ceremony of Ajeniju of Halleluyah town,.Oba Yusuf Jelili Olaiya was attended by the notable Osogbo indigene.
He thereafter informed all and sundry that the installation of Ajeniju of Halleluyah Oba Yusuf Jelili Olaiya Ademola the first was inline with the aspirations and yearnings of the inhabitants of halleluyah town and his coronation ceremony was done in the peaceful atmosphere.
He called on politicians whose their habits is to use politics to set a peaceful and harmonious society ablaze to henceforth halt such anti human and sinister mission just as he appealed to the security operatives to swift into action and investigate the authored of such a crisis provoking rumors.
