Dangote Refinery Reacts To Fire Outbreak

The management of Dangote Refineries Limited said it have swiftly contained reported fire outbreak at its site.
Dangote Refineries through a statement signed by its Group Chief Branding & Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, described the incident as a minor fire.
He explained that the reported fire outbreak happened at the Dangote Refinery effluent treatment plant.
The statement reads “We have swiftly contained a minor fire incident at our effluent treatment plant (ETP), today Wednesday 26th of June.
“There is no cause for alarm as the refinery is operating and there is no recorded injury or body harm to any of our staff on duty.”
Blaze Newz recalls that a video posted on X showed how fire engulfed part of the refinery in Lagos.
