Stop Blackmailing Tinubu, Embrace APC Elected Officials To Halt Inflicting Pain On Us - Oke Tells Gov Adeleke

As the struggle for who control the 30 local governments in Osun by All Progressives Congress, APC , and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, continues, lawmaker representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Oluwole Oke,has advised Governor Ademola Adeleke what to do.

The federal lawmaker in a message to the state governor personally signed on Thursday and made available to newsmen, said Governor Adeleke needs to act swiftly on lasting solution over the state local governments brouhaha that broke out after February 10 Akure Court of Appeal judgement.

Oke urged Governor Adeleke to stop blackmailing President Bola Tinubu, immediate past governor of Osun and current minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi and the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Olayemi Cadoso.

He accused Governor Adeleke led government of allegedly inflicting pains on APC elected officials beneficiaries of Local Government Administration in Osun State by not doing the right thing.

“It is your Government that is inflicting pains on us the beneficiaries of Local Government Administration in Osun State by not doing the right thing” he said.

According to the lawmaker, ” One of the reasons I left PDP under your leadership is because you don’t listen to advice .
Those people working with you do not mean well for you .

“I spoke to you and advise you on what to do on the Court of Appeal Judgement reinstating elected Apc Council Chairmen , Vice Chairmen and Councillors but you ignored me .

“Only an illiterate lawyer will advise you contrary to what the Court of Appeal rulled . That PDP / OSSIEC approached a wrong Court . What else do you need to hear sir.

“The window for you to ask for stay of execution and appeal at the Supreme Court has unfortunately closed perpetually and Apc will not help you by going to the Supreme Court on the App case .”

He told the Governor options before his administration, ” What is left for you to do now is to direct the Local Government civil servants NULGE to go back to work , embrace the Apc elected officials, work together until their tenure ends. OSSIEC should issue notice of fresh election so that in the next 180 days we shall have another election to elect new Local Government officials and that is if Apc elected officials are not asking for completion of their 3 years Mandate. In tbe alternative they can be paid their emoluments for the 3 years .
Mr Governor please bear in mind that both APC and PDP Members are all citizens of Osun States and you owe us a duty of care . ”

Commenting on solution for the Osun PDP chairmanship aspirants ,their vice and councillors who spent their fortune to participate in the February 22 election Oke appealed to Governor Adeleke to add them to the list of his Special Advisers (SAs) or Senior Special Advisers (SSAs).
