Children’s Day : Osun First Lady, Mrs Adeleke Doles Out Writing Materials To Orphans, Less Privileged

In the spirit of the 2024 International Children’s Day celebration, First Lady of Osun State and Founder of Imole Osun Development and Rekindled Hope Foundation, Chief Mrs Titilola Adeleke, has donated writing materials and edibles to different orphanage homes in Osogbo.

This according to the First Lady was part of her commitment towards improving the livelihood of vulnerable, especially indigent pupils and people with special needs in the state.

Presenting the items on Tuesday at different orphanage homes like FOMWAN orphanage home, Abiye Children’s home and school for people with special needs, Mrs Adeleke, who was represented by the wife of the Osun State House of Assembly Speaker, Mrs Monsurat Egbedun expressed her happiness to celebrate this year’s Children’s Day with the pupils.

The very elated First Lady used the opportunity to call on every well to do individuals in the society to key into making life better for others especially the less privileged.

School For People With Special Needs, Osogbo

In their separate appreciations remarks, Alhaja Sadiat Oladapo, state Amirah of FOMWAN, Mr Taiwo Kolade, Director, Abiye Children’s Home and Mrs Oladosu Ruth Oluwakemi, Headmistress, School for Persons with special needs (Primary section) expressed their profound gratitude to the First Lady for her kind gesture and show of love towards the centres.

Others who acompanied the speaker’s wife are; wife of the Honourable Commissioner of Transport, Mrs Folasade Oyedele, Personal Assistant to the First Lady, Mrs Kafayat Bidemi Babalola and the Secretary to the First Lady, Mrs Omolade Adebimpe.
