Ronaldo Speaks On Possible Return To Sporting Lisbon

Al-Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has turned down his possibility of returning to his boyhood club, Sporting Lisbon, in Portugal.
Ronaldo, who turns 40 years of age today played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus after leaving Sporting.

The five times Ballon D’or winner confirmed he still maintains his tie with the Portuguese club saying “I love watching Sporting games, it’s my team! But no, never considered a return there as makes no sense”.

Confirming to Canal 11 that his footballing career started in Sporting, however, insisted it is not necessary to end there “My career started in Portugal… and it’s not because I don’t like Portuguese football or there’s no quality, no, I just think everything has a time and a limit, and so I never thought about Sporting return”.
