Osun Poly Bars Students From Wearing Face Cap, Others On Campus
Management of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has announced that it will no longer tolerate students of the institution on the wearing of face cap on campus.
This was contained in an internal memorandum signed ,on Tuesday, by J. A Fadeji on behalf of the school’s registrar and obtained by Blaze Newz.
Other prohibited dressings are ; wearing of short skirt above the knees by female students, wagging of trouser by both male and female students, wearing of ankle chain by female students, wearing of long eye lashes by female students among others.
In effecting the dress code ,the school management said it has setup a monitoring committee to enforce and apprehend for appropriate disciplinary measure by the Students Disciplinary Committee (SDC) .
All students of the institution are urged to desist from any dressing that can bring the name of the Institution into disrepute.

The memo reads: “Following the resolution of the Board of Studies at its meeting held on 3rd November, 2022 to put an end to indecent dressing among students in the Institution, a monitoring committee has been set up to enforce and apprehend for appropriate disciplinary measure by the Students Disciplinary Committee (SDC) any student that violates the dressing code.
“The monitoring committee, which is on Faculty basis, will visit lecture halls, workshops and laboratories to ensure compliance with the dress code and bring any erring student to book.
“For avoidance of doubt, the following constitute indecent dressing and violation is sanctionable.
INDECENT DRESSING CODE
1. Crazy Jeans wearing by both male and female students
2. Sagging of Trouser by both male and female students
3. Colouring of Hair by both male and female students
4. Wearing of ear rings by male and nose ring by female students
5. Wearing pf tattoos by both male and female students
6. Wearing of loitering Jeans Trouser by both male female students
7. Wearing of bathroom slippers or bum short to the classroom
8. Dreadlock for men is prohibited
9. Wearing of face/fez cap by both male and female students
10. Wearing of spaghetti gown by female students
11. Wearing of short skirt above the knees by female students
12. Wagging of trouser by both male and female students
13. Wearing of ankle chain by female students
14. Wearing of long eye lashes by female students
15. Wearing of perforated jean trouser by both male and female students
16. Wearing of gown/blouse that expose the navel or breast by female students
17. Wearing of knickers by both male and female students
18. Wearing of net dresses or transparent blouse by female students
19. Hair style that carries inscriptions
20. Hair Extension with colour such as Blue, Green white, Yellow, Red, Pink and Purple or a combination of and of these colours
21. Wearing of armless blouse by female and armless shirt by both male and female students
22. Wearing of Mini skirt by female students
23. Tempting dressing without bra and/or pant under
24. Curled hair by male students.
