Ukraine-Russia War : FIFA Opens Special Window Transfer For Foreign Players, Coaches

World football organization, FIFA have announced the opening of a special transfer window to allow foreign players and coaches to temporarily leave Ukrainian and Russian clubs.
This is coming after FIFA banned Russia from participating in all football games due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Russian foreign players according to FIFA can now sign with new clubs of their choice before March 10.
Also, due to the ongoing war that has affected living in Ukraine forcing residents to flee the country, foreign football players, coaches are also granted permission to signed for another clubs.

FIFA statement reads ,”In order to facilitate the departure of foreign players and coaches from Russia, in the event that clubs affiliated to the Football Union of Russia (FUR) do not reach a mutual agreement with their respective foreign players and coaches before or on 10 March 2022…
FIFA further explained that “the foreign players and coaches will have the right to unilaterally suspend their employment contracts with the FUR-affiliated clubs in question until the end of the season in Russia (30 June 2022),”
