Erik ten Hag Breaks Silence After Shock Bayer Leverkusen Sack

Erik ten Hag has broken his silence after German club, Bayer Leverkusen, sacked him just after two Bundesliga matches.

The former Manchester United head coach was sacked few days ago by Bayer Leverkusen management, Blaze Newz reported

The decision by Bayer Leverkusen according to Erik ten Hag came to him as a big surprise.

This was contained in an official statement released by the dismissed coach: “The decision by Bayer Leverkusen’s management to put me on a leave of absence came as a 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞”.

“This summer, many key players who were part of the past successes left the squad. Building a new team is careful process that requires both time and trust”.

“A new manager deserves the space to implement his vision, set the standards, shape the squad, leave his mark on the style of play”.
