Naira Weakens With N3 Against Dollar On Official Market

The naira again recorded depreciations against the dollar in the official foreign exchange market on Wednesday.
This follows data from the Central Bank of Nigeria showing that the Nigerian naira slumped further to N1,549.21 per dollar on Wednesday, from N1,545.27 the previous day.

This means it weakened by N3.94 against the dollar on a day-to-day basis.

The N3.94 drop is higher than the N0.64 recorded on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, in the black market, the naira appreciated to N1,595 per dollar on Wednesday from N1,600 traded on Tuesday.
