Declare Pentecost Day A Public Holiday In Osun – Bishop Urges Gov Adeleke

A popular Bishop in Osun, Mike Bamidele, has called on Governor Ademola Adeleke led-government to consider the declaration of Pentecost Day a public holiday.
The Bishop made this call on Monday while granting interview to newsmen at the Government Technical College, Osogbo, during the 2025 Pentecost Day.

According to the man of God, “first of all declare it a public holiday in Osun state as a pace-setting state and in Nigeria
because you will accentuate the task for the spirit of love.”

Speaking, “On a day like this let’s keep our hope in God alive, man will always fail. This is my message to every Nigerian and everyone on the earth, put your trust in God, trusting man, government and people may be disappointing
He, however, urged Nigerians to imbibe the culture of praying for leadership that they will match up to expectations.
Lamenting the economice hardship confronting Nigerians , Bishop Bamidele said “in our country today expectations appear dashed, hopes appear blown off , needs are increasing, stress is increasing.

He, therefore, called for a more relaxing policy that will trickle down rather than on paper within agencies and organizations.
