Eid-el-Kabir – May We Emerge Stronger, More United In Our Pursuit Of Peace, Progress – Afolabi Felicitates Muslim Faithful

As the Muslim community concludes the sacred Hajj pilgrimage and celebrates Eid-el-Kabir, today, Hon. Lukman Afolabi, Chairman of Ede South Local Government Area of Osun State, extends warm felicitations to all Muslims in his constituency and beyond.
In a statement made available to the public through the Media unit of the chairman’s office, Afolabi said Eid-el-Kabir is a joyous occasion for celebrating faith, sacrifice, and devotion to Allah.
The council chairman reminded the Muslim faithful of the importance of obedience, sacrifice, and compassion demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim when he agreed to sacrifice his son to Allah.

“As we celebrate this momentous occasion, I pray that Allah’s blessings and mercy continue to abound in our lives. May this Eid-el-Kabir bring peace, prosperity, and joy to our homes and community. May we emerge stronger and more united in our pursuit of excellence and development.”
He also used the festive period to thank Governor Ademola Adeleke for the unbelievable development Osun is experiencing under his leadership, “I would like to use this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke, for his leadership and vision for Osun State.
“Under his administration, our state has witnessed unprecedented growth and development. I urge all well-meaning Osun people to continue supporting the PDP-led government in our state.

“Governor Adeleke’s commitment to the welfare and progress of our people is evident in the various initiatives and projects embarked upon by his administration. I am confident that with our collective support, we can achieve even greater heights and make Osun State a model for others to emulate.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Adha, I urge all Muslims to continue praying for our Governor, his family, and the entire government of Osun State. May Allah bless them with good health, wisdom, and divine guidance as they work tirelessly for the betterment of our state.
“Once again, I wish all Muslims in Ede South Local Government Area and beyond a blessed Eid-el-Adha. May this celebration bring us closer to Allah and one another, and may we emerge stronger and more united in our pursuit of peace, progress, and prosperity.”
