INEC Fixes Dates For Osun, Ekiti Guber Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the official timetable for off-cycle governorship elections in two Nigerian states.
According to the announcement, Ekiti State will go to the polls on Saturday, June 20, 2026, while the Osun State governorship election has been scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026.

These off-cycle elections follow the electoral calendar adjustments due to previous legal rulings and political transitions that altered the regular four-year cycle.
