JAMB Candidate Who Scored 311 In 2024 UTME, Rejected Osun Poly Admission Suffers Setback In 2025 Results

A high-performing Joint Admission Matriculation Board candidate, Michael Inemesit Uduak, who scored 311 in 2024 UTME has suffered setback after scoring 148 in her reseat 2025 results.
Blaze Newz gathered that Uduak was offered admission by Osun State Polytechnic Iree to study Building Technology last year but she rejected the provisional offer to pursue admission into Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

She scored 73 in Use of English, 87 in Physics, 77 in Biology, and 74 in Chemistry — totaling 311.

Unfortunate for Uduak, her 311 UTME score could not secure her admission into OAU to study Medicine and Surgery.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Uduak’s performance in the 2025 UTME dropped significantly.
She scored a total of 148, with subject breakdowns as follows: 35 in English, 41 in Physics, 35 in Biology, and 37 in Chemistry.

The story, shared widely by Igbere TV, has sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing mixed feelings about her decision to reject the earlier offer.
While some sympathized with her aspirations, others offered advice on making practical choices regarding tertiary education.
