Osun Poly Announces 24hour Internet Connectivity, Matriculates 2000 Students

Rector of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mr Kehinde Alabi, has announced that 24hour internet connectivity will go into full operations in the premises of the institution very soon.

Alabi disclosed this on Thursday during the matriculation ceremony held at institution at the Education Trust Fund (E.T.F) Hall.

Blaze Newz gathered that over 2,000 new intakes for National Diploma,ND,Higher National Diploma,HND, and National Certification of Education,NCE, were matriculated.

Addressing the news student, the Rector explained that the institution is willing to offer students plethora of opportunities, saying that “to those whom is given, much is expected.”

“In return for our resolve to transform the institution to a prominent citadel of learning, we expect you to be law-abiding, disciplined and to pay your fees in good time,” Kehinde added.

He, however, warned the students to refrain from all forms of unacceptable vices during their stay in the institution.

“There are vices that are not acceptable in this community, avoid them like a plague. Cultism, Indecent Dressing, Examination Mal-practice, Hooliganism and other Mal-adaptive behaviour are cankerworm that the institution has zero tolerance for, I admonish you all not to engage in any of them” he said.

He also admonished them to obtain a copy of Students’ Guardian so as to guide them on their admission, registration, examination and school procedure.

While congratulating the new students, Alabi, advised them to always comport themselves appropriately as their dressing and utterances should portray them as a cultured ambassador of the Institution in line with the motto of the Institution”Excellence in Character and Technology.”
