Isiaka Adeleke: Your Legacy Of Politics Without Bitterness, Peoples First Will Continue To Be Our Philosophy – Afolabi

The Executive Chairman of Ede South Local Government Area of Osun State, Hon. Lukman Afolabi, has said the legacy of politics without bitterness of the first executive governor of the state, Senator Isiaka Adeleke will continue to be his philosophy.
Afolabi, in a statement personally signed on Wednesday for the 8th remember of the former governor, said Senator Adeleke’s political style of people first made his legacy remain alive.
The council boss noted that the late Ede-born politician and philanthropy is loved by residents across nooks and crannies of the state.

“Even in his grave, Senator Adeleke remains a beacon of hope to the masses; this made his political students enjoy more reliability and acceptability,” Afolabi said.
He enjoined those who believe in the political style of Senator Adeleke to adhere to sincerity for public service and desist from being pretenders.
His statement reads in part, “With heaven heart that accepts the judgment of Allah, I pray for continuous mercy for my political mentor, father,, and benefactor, Senator Isiaka Adeleke (D-Gov).
“Today, which marks the 8th year of his exit from the world, reminds me of his many enviable attributes, which serve as the path I take, political and otherwise.
“I will forever hold firmly the legacy of politics without bitterness and peoples first of D-Gov.
“As a political student of D-Gov who prioritizes the people’s interests above all, I remain resolute in ensuring that the philanthropy attribute of the former governor is demonstrated at all times.
“I charge all that believe in D-Gov political style to be a sincere public servant and desist from being a pretender.
“D-Gov has gone, but his legacy remains alive with us,” the statement said.
