Osun Amotekun Announces Camping Venue For Shortlisted Applicants

Holds 1km Physical Fitness Test on Friday
The Osun State Security Network and Amotekun Corps has announced the NYSC Orientation Camp in Ede as venue for camping and training successful applicants.
The Osun Amotekun made this known in a statement signed by its spokesman, Yusuf Abass, on Thursday and made available to newsmen in Osogbo.

Abass noted that successful candidates were shortlisted after undergoing a rigorous selection process, which included various stages of screening to assess their physical fitness, mental readiness, and overall suitability for the demanding responsibilities of the Amotekun Corps.
He urged applicants to check the list of shortlisted names at the Osun Amotekun Headquarters, Powerline Area, Osogbo.
Abass added that further evaluation of applicants’ physical endurance in a 1km fitness exercise on Friday, March 7, will be done.
“The race will begin at the Government Secretariat Second Gate, Abeere, and end at the Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, located along the Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding”, the statement said.

It further said “For the exercise, all successful applicants are expected to appear in the following attire: a white round-neck t-shirt, white shorts, and white sneakers.”
