NNPP Slams APC Over Education, Health Policies

The leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, in Jigawa State and its 2023 gubernatorial candidate, Aminu Ibrahim Ringim, has strongly criticized the All Progressives Congress, APC-led administration, accusing it of failing in the education and health sectors.
Speaking at a political gathering in Ringim, Ringim alleged that the ruling party had neglected critical areas.
He called for urgent reforms, insisting that the people of Jigawa deserve better governance and improved social services.
“It is unacceptable to see only one teacher in an entire school. The government must employ more qualified teachers to bridge the gap and enhance education in the state,” he stated.

He emphasized that education is the foundation of development, urging the government to strengthen the system to secure a better future for children.
According to him “Children are the leaders of tomorrow, from them, we expect future governors, presidents, ministers, and other leaders,” he added.
Ringim also urged the government to focus on human development and job creation, stating that empowering citizens would help curb crime, including armed robbery, kidnapping, and theft among other things.

In terms of healthcare, he stressed the need for increased manpower in hospitals and enhanced capacity-building initiatives to improve service delivery.
He further stated that it would not be a bad idea if the APC-led administration adopted NNPP’s manifesto for the benefit of the state.

Addressing rumours of a possible political alliance, Ringim dismissed the speculation, affirming that NNPP remains an independent party and is not in talks with any political group.
He called on party members to remain united and work hard for the NNPP’s victory in the 2027 general elections.
