Osun LG Polls: Imposters Will Be Arrested – OSSIEC Warns

The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission ,OSSIEC, has warned that it will not tolerate Imposters during the February 22 council election.
This warning is contained in an announcement made by the commission 48 hours to the Saturday election.
In the announcement signed by the commission’s Information Officer,Sadiat Isiaka, said any unauthorised media or observer team without an authorisation official jackets and tags of the commission will be treated as an impostor.
The commission added that such person will be handed over to security agents.
The announcement reads “Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) wishes to inform the general public that only media organisations and observers team duly authorized by the Commission, bearing the official tags and jackets provided by the Commission for the purpose of the election will be allowed access to the polling units, wards, local government areas of the State and the Central Collation Centre during the election scheduled for Saturday 22nd February 2025.
“Any unauthorised media or observer team without an authorisation letter, the official jackets and tags of the Commision will be treated as an impostor and will be handed over to security agents.”
Blaze Newz recalls that OSSIEC on Monday during the unveiling of electoral material witnessed by Osun IPAC said the commission is fully prepared for the Saturday’s election.
