Osun LG Polls : Afolabi Charges Leaders, Stakeholders To Mobilize Voters En-mass For PDP

• As Olu of Sekona endorses Gov Adeleke for second term

The chairmanship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for Ede South Local Government Area of Osun state, Hon Lukman Afolabi, has called on party leaders and stakeholders to mobilize voters massively for the February 22 council election.

This call was part of Afolabi’s address on Friday during the rounding up of his ward campaigns held at Sekona Ward 8.

He noted that in the last two years, Governor Ademola Adeleke, had set the standard for good governance, prudence, focus, dedication, with all qualities that characterize exemplary leadership.

The immediate past ALGON secretary adding that Governor Adeleke is committed to pursuing his administration’s policies and programs in line with his 100 billion infra plan to improve the citizens of Osun state.

The PDP local party chairman,Hon Ademola Oyebode also enjoin all residents of the local government to come out en-masse to support the party’s chairmanship candidate and all its ten councillorship candidates.

He further expressed optimism that Hon Afolabi will set an agenda of “Government for the people, opportunities for growth, development, welfare, inclusiveness, new ideas, and security”, which would impact positively in people of the state in line with Governor Ademola Adeleke’s action plan.”

He also advised the people to shun mischief makers who do not mean well for the growth and development of Ede South and vote PDP all the way, from Chairmanship down to councilorship, in order to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

Olu of Sekona Oba Waheed Adebowale who also endorsed Governor Adeleke for the second term pointed out numerous developmental programs implemented by Governor Adeleke in the last two years.

The monarch said the key achievements of the Governor Adeleke include road infrastructure, education, health, agriculture, and human development which positively impacted the lives of the people in the state.
