More Trouble As RB Leipzig Considering Going To Court Over Barcelona Refusal To Pay Agreed Bonus On Olmo

More problems are awaiting Barcelona as RB Leipzig’s legal services are currently investigating their alleged claim that they will not pay €10 million which is part of the agreed fee for the signing of Dani Olmo, COPE reports.

Barcelona is claiming that it will not pay €10m if Olmo doesn’t play in La Liga due to his registration problems.

The Spanish giant signed Olmo from Leipzig last summer for €55 million but €20m of that money was to come in variables.

Based on the agreement, €10m of those variables are easy to meet, whereas the other €10m are based on appearances and performances which are not so easy to achieve.

Barca are now arguing against paying the €10m for appearances if Olmo cannot play for them.

Leipzig wants their money regardless and will go to court over the matter if need be.
