Olojudo Condemns Attack On Ajeniju Of Hallelujah, Says Subject Are Peace-loving, Law-abiding

The Olojudo of Ido-Osun Alayemore Kingdom, Oba Olayinka Oyetunde Jokotola (Ilufemiloye1), has condemned in totality the attack on Ajeniju of Hallelujah, Oba Jelil Olaiya, by suspected thugs.

Olojudo in a press release personally signed on Saturday said Ido-Osun under his leadership will not tolerate any form of criminality.

Blaze Newz recalls that Governor Ademola Adeleke after the disturbing report of an attack on Oba Olaiya and the burning of his palace ordered security agencies to fish out the arsonists and thugs.

Reacting to this ,Olojudo in the press statement noted that he aligned with Governor Adeleke in condemning the attack which according to him was a breach of peace and an unacceptable approach to expressing grievances.

“I want to assert that the palace of the Olojudo of Ido-Osun is in full support of the Governor’s efforts to ensure that the peace in Ido-Osun is not upturned.

“My subjects are peace-loving and law-abiding as confirmed in the ever peaceful environment enjoyed in the town by both indigenes and other residents.”

He called on all interested parties in the matter to remain calm and allow security personnel do their work.

“I urge the youths particularly to cooperate with the police and maintain the peace that reigns in Ido-Osun. Nobody should take laws into their hands.

“Let all aggrieved persons go through the right and peaceful channels in registering their concerns.

“All residents are bound by the law of the land, and we must avoid actions that can harm our neighbours or disrupt economic activities in our dear town.

“I assure all interested parties that justice will be served. Let us all work with the government on this matter.

“Hoodlums from neighbouring towns are hereby warned to stay away from Ido-Osun. I will also not allow unnecessary exploitation of law-abiding estate developers in the name of ‘Omo onile’ (children of land owners).

“All forms of criminality are unacceptable in Ido-Osun” Olojudo said.
