Ibadan Stampede: Estranged Ooni’s Queen, Silekunola, Hazmat, Other Remanded

Estranged Queen of Ooni of Ife, Prophetess Silekunola Moronke Naomi, who organised an event that led to the deadly Ibadan stampede, has been remanded in Agodi Correctional Centre in Oyo State.
Naomi was arraigned alongside Oriyomi Hamzat, the chief executive officer of Agidigbo FM, and a school principal before an Oyo State Magistrate Court.

This was in connection to the former queen’s botched food relief programme which led to the deaths of 35 children in Ibadan, the state capital, on December 18.
