Bobagunwa Of Osogboland : Afolabi Felicitates Osun SSG, Igbalaye On His New Chieftaincy Title

The chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Ede South Local Government Area of Osun state in the forthcoming election, Hon Lukman Afolabi, has facilitated with Secretary to the Osun State Government, Hon Teslim Igbalaye, on his conferment as Bobagunwa of Osogboland.

Afolabi in a congratulatory message, on Friday, described the chieftaincy title on Igbalaye as, “evidence and recognition of his efforts in representing the interest of Osogboland at all time and no doubt, he has triumphed in putting Osun on the right part to a prosperous future.

“It is not surprising that the highly coveted title was bestowed on Hon Teslim because anyone who has been following this administration Governor Ademola Adeleke from the onset till date, would agree that every award of recognition that comes the way of the SSG was well deserved.

“No doubt, Hon Teslim Igbalaye has shown unalloyed commitment to making Osun State work for all. Today, we have an Osun where children of nobody now get jobs without knowing anybody. Today, we have Osun where dignity of labour has been restored in the Civil Service. Today, we have Osun where the aged ones are being treated in the most humane way and with utmost respect.

“Your contribution to the growth and development of Osogbo land has been remarkable”, I’m very proud of you – Afolabi said.

He ,however, wished the SSG success in his new role as the Bobagunwa of Osogboland saying “May God almighty grant you the wisdom, knowledge and sound health in your new chieftancy title oga.”
