Bamidele Salam, 32 Rep Members Donate N100 Million To Support Ede N5 Billion Fund-raising

Not less than thirty two members of the National House of Assembly on Saturday donated the sum of hundred million naira (100,000,000 to support the five billion naira (N5,000,000,000,000) fund-raising of Edeland.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, represented by Rt. Hon. Alhassan Doguwa, who led other lawmakers to the grand finale of the 2024 Ede Day in his speech lauded Governor Ademola Adeleke who doubles as Asiwaju of Edeland for his exemplary leadership.

He also congratulated Timi of Edeland, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal and all sons and daughters of Ede for the success of this year’s Ede Day celebration.

He stressed that their presence in Osun to attend the Ede Day despite differences in their political parties was to support one of their own, Hon Bamidele Salam.

According to Doguwa ” Even as an opposition on the floor, the number of members and categories of people who came here to identify with him was because he is a good son of Osun State.”

He added that Salam is one of the strongest forces on the floor of the house of representatives saying he build bridges left,right and center.

In his individual donation, lawmaker representing Ede South Federal Constituency of Osun,Bamidele Salam, donated the sum of twenty-five million naira (25,000,000,000).

Salam reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to the development of Ede, demonstrating a deep dedication to advancing the community’s growth and prosperity.

In expressing his appreciation, he appreciated the invaluable support of the leadership of the 10th House of Representatives and his colleagues, whose support has been instrumental in making the program a resounding success.

Other prominent attendees include; Ataoja of Osogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji Laroye II , Senator Lere Oyewumi, Deputy Governor of Oyo state, Bayo Lawal, among others.
