Four Persons Rescued In Lagos Fatal Auto Crash

Four persons have been rescued by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, in a fatal auto crash in Lagos State.
The Permanent Secretary of the agency, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed this in a statement issued on Tuesday in Lagos.
He disclosed that the incident had happened on Monday evening, adding that the victims sustained severe injuries in the accident which involved two buses.
According to the statement, the Toyota Coaster bus had crashed into the parked BRT while attempting to overtake a car as it headed towards Iyana-Oworo.

Oke-Osanyintolu, noted that the agency had received a distress call and immediately activated its emergency response team from the Command and Control Centre in Alausa, Ikeja.
“The injured victims received pre-hospital care treatment from the agency’s paramedics before being evacuated to nearby government-owned hospitals,” he stated.
