2024 Ede Day: Talent Hunt On Entertainment Holds November 21 – Sodiq

The Chairman, Publicity Committee for 2024 Ede Day, Comrade Suleiman Sodiq (Ajasco) has disclosed that this year will not only be for celebration but also to discover gifted and talented Ede youths.

Comrade Sodiq made this disclosure, on Friday, while featuring on Ede Mapo Arogun, a weekly program on OSBC radio sponsored by Ede Day Publicity Committee.

He explained that as part of the exciting program to celebrate this year’s Ede Day, a special program on entertainment tagged “Talent Hunt” has been slated for November 21 where best among the contestants will be rewarded.

According to Comrade Sodiq those with God’s gifted talent in Fuji music, cultural entertainment, Hipop music among others will be given the opportunity to display their talent at the Oja Timi township hall.

Highlighting a seven-day program that will span to the grand finale of the 2024 Ede Day, Comrade Sodiq stressed that the township’s annual celebration will kickstart with a church thanksgiving and Eroya, a program on OSBC radio on December 1 where the Central Planning Committee Chairman, Hon. Lukman Afolabi will be the guest.

He added that a press conference and inter-religious special prayer that will be led by Chief Imam and CAN president Ede chapter will hold on December 2 with a lecture on love and development of Edeland.

He also added that health walk will hold on December 3.

Other programs are; grand finale for education program on December 4, sport final match on December 5, Jumat Service, youth rally, and Gbagede Timi will all be held on December 6.

It would be recalled that Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Hon. Afolabi, who declared December 7 as 2024 Ede Day assured sons and daughters of Ede across the world that his leadership will organize unique celebration.
