Abdur-Rahman Lekki Is Dead
The Executive Secretary, Lagos State Scholarship Board, Abdurrahman Lekki has returned to his Creator, Allah.
Lekki, a Life Coach with specialization on Leadership, change management, personal effectiveness and Financial Intelligence, died in the early hours of Wednesday,
Although the news of his death hasn’t been officially confirmed by his family or office, many of his friends including the Muslim group, Movement for Islamic Culture and Awareness (MICA), have taken to the social media to mourn his passing.
Ustadh Adeotan Tajudeen Abu Mardiyyah posted on Facebook, “May Allaah bless the soul of Abu Haneefah Sulaimon AbdurRahman Lekki. One death too many.”
Ustadh Tajudeen followed-up his post with burial arrangements slated for Tuesday, 30th October, by 1:30 pm at Lagos State Secretariat Mosque, Alausa, Ikeja.
Muslim News Nigeria gathered that the body of Lekki, otherwise known as Abu Haneefah Sulayman will leave for Lagos Mainland Muslim Cemetery, Ofada, Ogun State.
In his condolence, Mutiat Orolu-Balogun wrote: “Allahuma igfirlahu Allahuma irhamhu. May Allah accept him as a pious servant and grant him AlJannatul Firdaous. This is really shocking!”
Sirajudeen Abdulazeez also wrote, “He was a friend, and a good friend indeed, even while on the sick bed he was working for the Ummah. May his grave be rawdatun min riyadhil jannah.”
