Ondo Guber: Show Respect To Tinubu, Vote APC — Ganduje Urges Electorate
Ahead of the Ondo State gubernatorial election, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, has called on the people of the state to vote massively for the party.
Ganduje, who spoke on Monday while inaugurating a 305-member national campaign council for the November 16 governorship election, said since President Bola Tinubu is from the region, it would be respectful to vote for the ruling party.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is the chairman of the campaign council, while Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State and Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River are Deputy Chairman 1 and Deputy Chairman 2, respectively and Senator Ovie Omo-Agege will serve as the Secretary of the committee.
Inaugurating the campaign council in Akure, Ganduje stated: “I now hand over the working instrument for this council to the chairman. This campaign council will work with the local campaign council and this national campaign council will form a strong synergy with the local campaign council.
“The President is doing reforms for the social and economic investment of the country. Mr President is from this geopolitical zone; in order to show respect and appreciate him, you should vote APC.
“In this geopolitical zone, we must mobilise to ensure that we win this election; we are here to create enabling environment so that the election will be free and fair to ensure we win.”
