OspolyIree MAOS Lauds Olayiwola Over Donation Of 2 Inverter Air Conditioners To Department TV Studio

The National President of Mass Communication Alumni of Ospolyiree(MAOS) Adekunle Sikiru (Abacus) has announced the delivering of two inverter 1500 Horsepower Air Conditioners to the television studio of Mass Communication.

Sikiru made the announcement in a statement made available to Blaze Newz on Thursday.

The OspolyIree MAOS President disclosed that the donation was done by Williams Olayiwola, who graduated in 2014 from Mass Communication department, before he moved to United States of America.

Sikiru lauded the humanitarian gesture of Olayiwola for donating the air conditioners to the department just as he appealed to other graduates of the institution, especially MAOS members to continue to give back to their Alma mata.

Blaze Newz gathered that the achievement of the equipment was jointly facilitated by the OspolyIree MAOS President and the current Dean of Student Affairs, Dr Tope Abiola, who supervised Olayiwola’s final year project during his HND programme.

The statement reads in part “MAOS as an association of Mass Communication Alumni received the surprising news that Williams Olayiwola donated two inverter 1500 Horsepower air conditioners facilitated by Dr Tope Abiola and Adekunle Sikiru.

“The Association described this gesture as unusual because spending almost one million naira to procure AC for department is commendable especially to aid the practical exercise of students in the department.

“The Association therefore urged other graduates of the Institution particularly MAOS members to continue to give back to their Alma mata so that the coming generations can emulate the good gestures.”

Describing the present head of Department of Mass Communication, Ospolyiree ,Dr Idowu Akinrosoye, Sikiru noted that he is a visionary man per excellence.
