Further recalling that Governor Adeleke has been giving unalloyed support to depose Adegboye by approving his elder sister,Mrs. Modupe Adeleke-Sanni and her late husband to be conferred with an illegal honourary Chieftaincy title on 9th day of December,2023, in contrary to the Adeleke’s Oath of Office of upholding the Constitution in line with section 187(2) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,as amended.
Prince Sulaiman, while aproaching the Osun State High Court of Justice, Osogbo Judicial Division in a Suit N0:HOS/83/2024, upon discovery of new forgery documentary evidences.

The other Defendants in the Suit aside Taiwo Abdulrasaq Adegboye, were; Osun State Governor, State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice,State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Balogun of Awoland and Executive Chairman,Egbedore Local Government,Awo respectively.
Sulaiman, who is also the Executive Chairman,Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice (CHRSJ),also urged the Court to invoke the section 14[2]{ic} of the Chief’s Law, Cap. 25, Laws of Osun State, 2002 in line with the declaration/vouch contained in Adegboye’s Expression of Interest Form Number: 000000114 at page 2-(iv) to disqualify Adegboye for submitting false information credentials along with his Expression of Interest Form to 6th and 3rd Defendants that served as umpire respectively for the appointment of candidate and installation for Alawo stool.
The rights activist also prayed the Court to install him as Plaintiff (Prince Adeniyi Alimi Sulaiman) in the Suit, as the only qualified candidate that is fit and proper from Abioye Ruling House/Compound, Awo, to become the new Alawo forthwith as a result of despicable fraudulent acts of Taiwo Adegboye with regard to the Chieftaincy Stool.
Sulaiman further alleged that Taiwo Adegboye nominated and imposed himself on their Ruling House (Abioye) as the candidate for the Stool fraudulently without any evidence to proof such nomination, upon which the appointing authority approved his purported appointment and subsequent installation as new Alawo since 13th day of September, 2021, alleging Taiwo Adegboye of using his position then as Legislative Leader of Egbedore local Government,Awo in contrary to Sections 15(5) and 24 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal republic of Nigeria, as amended, to do the abracadabra over the Stool.
He added that Adegboye appointment and subsequent installation were done in flagrant disobedience to the Appeal Court in Appeal N0: CA/AK/58/2021 which lead to the nullification of his purported appointment and subsequent installation as new Alawo on 8th day of August,2022 by Appeal Court sitting in Akure,Ondo State.
Meanwhile, the Court is yet to fix date for the commencement of the Suit.
“If there is no punitive measure for a crime committed, others would regard it as norms and right things to be doing in our democratic and civilized society”, Sulaiman submitted.
