Oba Olatunbosun Charges Teachers To Be Active, Responsive

Says Teaching is a noble profession that helps to mold leaders of tomorrow
The Akirè of Ìkirè-Ilé Kingdom, Ọba Abdulazeez Olatunbosun, has charged teachers to be active, attentive and responsive.
Oba Olatunbosun made the charge on Monday, while declaring Teachers Improvement Workshop going on at the Wings Secondary School Hall, Iwo, open.
The royal father who acknowledged teaching profession as a noble one stressed that it’s important that teachers upgrade their subject matter expertise, learn new teaching techniques and technologies.
Speaking on the significance of the workshop, Oba Olatunbosun told the participants that the Teachers Improvement Workshop came at the right time.
According to the traditional ruler “You will also share best practices and experiences.
“The only way you can appreciate this effort is by using the knowledge you obtain here for the benefit of your students” the monarch said.
Oba Olatunbosun appreciated organizers of the workshop saying “It is an effort in the right direction.”

“I call on the participants and beneficiaries of this workshop to be active, attentive, and responsive.”
He, however, suggested that more of the workshop should be organized periodically.
