The Olupon of Oluponan, Oba Abdulrafiu Oyekanmi Bamigboye II and Olu of Ile-Ogbo, Oba Abeeb Adetoyese , have lauded Governor Ademola Adeleke for commissioning what they described as people’s oriented projects in different communities of their towns.

The traditional rulers in their different addresses explained that the motorized borehole commissioned by the governor on Wednesday are people’s oriented that will impact immensely in their lives.

Governor Adeleke, who was represented by the Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs. Hon. Ganiyu Olaoluwa, promised that his government will site more projects in their towns.

He enjoined beneficiaries of the projects to see the projects as their own saying government has done its part by siting the micro projects in their different communities.

He urged them that the projects should be utilized judiciously just as he tasked community leaders on maintenance.

The governor, however, appreciated residents of the community for their endless support to his government recalled that their support for him in the 2022 governorship election will be forever appreciated.

Senatorial leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Osun west, Agbakin Henry Oyetunde, in his own address hailed the governor for his commitment in ensuring that residents of the state at the grassroots get access to purtable water.

The elated party stalwart noted that residents of Ile-Ogbo and Oluponan can now boast that Osun State Government under the leadership of Governor Adeleke did not forget them.

Echoing a similar views, immediate past caretaker chairman of Ayedire Local Government Area, Hon. Solomon Akinyemi Ogunbiyi, expressed deep appreciation to Governor Ademola Adeleke and Osun CSDA for the successful implementation of the projects.

Ogunbiyi who stressed that he has not seen a serious government like that of Governor Adeleke explained that Ayedire Local Government was given three handpump and seven motorized borehole.

According to Ogunbiyi “In all the ten wards in Ayedire Local Government, since the inception of Governor Ademola Adeleke regime, we have at least three boreholes per ward.

“Water is life and very important, in those days where there is no water nobody will site a town there and we have this water problem in Ayedire so much for so long in time but for now the problem has sealed off, I don’t believe there is any where that there can be problem of water shortage again in Ayedire Local Government that I governed.”

General Manager of the Osun Community and Social Development Agency (Osun-CSDA) Mrs Funmi Abokede, lauded Governor Adeleke, for releasing fund to make the completion of the micro projects possible.

Abokede, who congratulated the beneficiaries urged them to make good use of the projects and maintain them for unborn children to benefit from them.

A resident in Ile-Ogbo, Mrs Ismail, who spoke with Blaze Newz said Governor Adeleke and Osun-CSDA have brought them ease with the siting of the water project in her community.

The mother of three confessed that her community despite have wells in different areas is one of the communities in Ayedire Local Government suffering from shortage of drinkable water.

Another resident in Oluponan, Mr Kareem Abdul in his reaction to the water project said for long his household and other community members have been struggling to get water healthy for drinking.

Abdul told Blaze Newz that with the motorized borehole in their community the suffering of getting drinkable water has come to an end.
