Osun NSCDC Reunites Two Children With Their Parents

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)Osun State Command has successfully reunited two wandering children with their parents.
According to the State Commandant, Michael Adaralewa PhD, on Thursday, 29th August 2024, our personnel on patrol found a 12-year-old boy wandering around Lameco in Osogbo at 11 pm.
The boy said, he ran away from his guardian’s house due to inadequate food, emphazing that the guardian only gives him two square meal in a day and he doesn’t get satisfied, Upon reuniting him with his guardian, it was revealed that the boy has a high appetite, and no matter the quantity of food given, he remains unsatisfied.
Also, on Saturday, 31st August 2024, an 8-year-old girl was found wandering at Apara Area, Osunjela, Ilesha Road, Osun state, and was taken to the nearest NSCDC office by a good Samaritan. She was later reunited with her parents.
Commandant Adaralewa commended the public for their collaboration and appealed for proactive intelligence to ensure the safety of children, especially during this holiday period.
He assured that the command is working with sister agencies to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of the three children that were kidnapped in August and bring the perpetrators to justice.
